Scholarships

Scholarships are awarded at the discretion of the Headteacher with GEMS Head Office.

The Hampshire School offers scholarships in:

• Academic talent

• Sport

• Music

• Art

• Drama

Awards are considered for exceptional ability in other areas - for example, a chess scholarship for a Great Britain Junior Chess Champion. The criteria and process for awards is agreed by the school’s senior management team. This is communicated to applicants before assessment.

All scholarships are reviewed annually. Progress is discussed with the pupil and each pupil’s achievements in the scholarship area are assessed. Scholarship pupils must continue to show their potential and commitment to retain an award and always adhere to the School Charter.

Bursaries - Phased payment of school fees

The Hampshire School with the GEMS head office allows some parents in financial hardship to pay school fees in instalments. This is usually for a set period with a review date.
