In Drama, Year 4 have been exploring the three principles of puppetry, inspired by the theatre company Gyre and Gimble of War Horse fame. The three principles are: breath, focus and weight. The children are working together to devise performances inspired by the story Brother Eagle, Sister Sky: A Message from Chief Seattle.
Nearly 150 years ago, Chief Seattle, a leader of one of the Northwest Indian Nations, delivered a message to the government who wanted to buy his people's land. He believed that all life on earth, and the earth itself, is sacred.
