Our Reception pupils enjoyed an exciting drama workshop called “Castles, Knights and Princesses” where they had fun playing cooperatively as part of a group to develop and act out a fairy-tale narrative, consolidating the work we have done all term around our topic of ‘Once Upon a Time’.
The children built their confidence in public speaking and performing in front of their peers and they expressed themselves, showing an awareness of the listeners needs. They had such fun pretending to be different fairy-tale characters and learned how to be a good audience, by showing respect and listening and not interrupting.
