What a busy time Year One has had! The children have been such a joy to teach as they all genuinely love learning. 

 

They excelled using the Inspire Maths programme working out problems with a partner. Working collaboratively they discussed how best to find solutions and explained to others the way to find the answers.

 

Over the year the children have read so many great books that when the time came to become author and illustrators for the first time they were so excited. They also enjoyed the opportunity to share books with Year 4 and Reception. 

 

However, I think the most notable achievement was their ability to adapt and focus so exceptionally to online teaching. They displayed resilience and great responsibility for their own learning. 

 

It has been such a pleasure to watch them grow throughout the year. I wish them all the best for the future, Miss Smith
